FG says female bombers planning to hit polling booths during election
Speaking to newsmen in Abuja today, the DG of the National Orientation
Agency and
Coordination of the National Information Center, Mr Mike Omeri, said
they got intelligence report that female suicide bombers are planning to
attack polling booths during Feb. election
"Recent intelligence reports indicate that some unscrupulous Nigerians have perfected plans to surreptitiously collect, buy or steal the permanent voter cards (PVCs) of female voters, handover same to female suicide bombers and create access for them into polling centres where they will detonate bombs and kill unsuspecting voters. “By this information, therefore, Nigerians, especially female voters, are warned to remain vigilant and also jealously guard and preserve their PVCs to avoid the possibility of their being lost to these bad elements who will put them to untoward uses.” Omeri said

The suicide bomber was heading to her target when the bomb she was carrying went off in an empty place prematurely because of the high level of security put in place. The suicide bomber and a passerby were the only casualties, while six persons were injured but not fatally.

Buhari was never stoned in Lagos - APC
The All Progressives Congress (APC) has denied the concocted story by former Minister of State for Defence Musiliu Obanikoro that the party's presidential candidate, Gen. Muhammadu Buhari, was pelted with stone during the party's rally in Lagos, saying a lie has never worn a bolder face.
Prof. Pat Utomi writes on the controversial Charles Soludo article
The firestorm generated by Chukwuma Soludo’s well reasoned commentary on the place of issues in the 2015 electioneering campaign has somehow become the core of the campaign. What a way to come from outside and define agenda.
