Breaking: Amber Rose files for divorce from Wiz Khalifa

TMZ just broke the news. After one year of marital bliss, Amber Rose just filed for divorce from rapper Wiz Khalifa. Wasn't it recently she shared wedding photos and gushed about him? Find the report from TMZ below...

Amber Rose has filed for divorce from husband-of-1-year Wiz Khalifa ... and she's gunning for full custody of their kid.

In the divorce docs -- obtained by TMZ -- Amber says they split on Monday and cites irreconcilable differences.

Amber is asking for full legal and physical custody of their 1-year-old son Sebastian. She's willing to give Wiz visitation.

And this is interesting. Amber acknowledges there's a prenup, which you would think would work in Wiz' favor, but she says it's valid ... presumably, she's not challenging it. The docs say the prenup provides spousal support.

As for why they split, there's been a buzz over the last few days of infidelity, but there's no mention of it in the papers.

We got video of Amber with some guy Tuesday in Bev Hills. Our photog asks her if Wiz is keeping a close eye on Nick Cannon -- there are rumors they've hooked up, but she's mum.

Sources connected with the couple say the split is bitter.

Mum of Kardashian Girls, Kris Jenner Files for Divorce from Bruce Jenner

After 23 years of marriage, reality star and mum of the Kardashian girls, Kris Jenner has filed for divorce from Bruce Jenner. The couple officially separated in Oct. 2013. See the TMZ report below.. TMZ has learned it’s already a done deal. Kris filed pro per — meaning no lawyer. Our sources say this was all orchestrated. Bruce Jenner’s response is about to be filed at the L.A. County Courthouse. She cites the standard “irreconcilable differences” as grounds for the divorce. Everything has been worked out with their business managers … our sources say. There was no prenup and they have already agreed to a property split. Neither party will get spousal support. As for Kylie – who is 17 – they have joint custody. Bruce, Kris and their managers worked out the deal over the last few months. They separated June 1, 2013. That’s significant because once they’re separated they don’t continue to share earnings – in other words, what’s hers stays hers after separation. We’re told the divorce is “totally amicable.”

Emir of Kano Wants Law To Punish Divorcee

The Emir of Kano, Muhammad Sanusi II on Friday, called on the state government to pass a law that would punish people who divorce their spouse over flimsy excuses.  

According to Premium Times, the Emir, who condemned the increase in divorce in Kano State, reiterated the need for disciplinary actions to be meted on perpetrators

Sanusi further explained that the punitive steps are to be taken to halt the development, adding that people now end their marriages on questionable grounds.

The Emir, who pointed out that women are often the most affected after divorce, stated that the worst hit amongst such women are the uneducated and the economically-disadvantaged ones. He said most of their husbands end marriages over matters that could have been resolved.

Sanusi warned that anyone found guilty of unnecessary divorce without reasonable reasons for such an action would be appropriately punished in order to serve as deterrent to others nursing the same thoughts in their head.

The Emir expressed optimism that the decision would help reduce the alarming spate of divorce cases in the state. He also warned residents, district heads, ward and village heads against drug usage and addiction, assuring that he will not relent in expelling anyone found in drug mess.

It would be recalled that on June 8, 2014, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, who was an expelled Central Bank of Nigeria Governor was chosen to become the new Emir of Kano, to succeed the late Emir, Alhaji Ado Bayero.  The decision, however, sparked a negative reaction from the people of the state.
