Shocking sad news! Actor Muna Obiekwe has died

Yes, it's true! Actor Muna Obiekwe has died. He died this afternoon around 4:15pm in a hospital in Lagos after a battle with kidney failure. He was rushed to the hospital today after he collapsed at his home. Muna has been quietly battling this kidney disease but kept it hush hush from friends and colleagues. So Sad! A colleague said for over two weeks before he died didn't go for his dialysis.

Muna needed money for his health problems but instead of going public to raise money, he told friends he was planning a stage play to raise money but died before he could do it. Unbelievably sad!

Meanwhile, there's some twitter handle called @MunaObiekwe that's denying his death. That is not Muna! Unfortunately the real one is gone. Unbelievable! RIP to a great actor!

16-year-old Jolade (surname withheld) didn’t know she had been dating a suspected cult member until the unexpected happened to her.

Whenever she remembers the ugly experience she allegedly went through in the hands of her boyfriend and three of his friends, she curses the day she met him.
Jolade was said to have been gang-ra-ped by four suspected cultists including her boyfriend of over two years, Oluwole Seyi, 18.
Another girl, Tawa (surname withheld), said to be the girl friend of one of the other suspects, was also not spared as the boys allegedly had carnal knowledge of her in quick succession.
The three other suspected rapists were identified as Olayinka Andrew,18; Tobi Akindolapo, 17; and Ayomide Akinbinu, 18

Sunday Vanguard gathered that the victim was deceived by her boyfriend who allegedly told her they were attending a party in Ondo town that night.
But unknown to her, the boyfriend had allegedly arranged with three of his friends to commit the dastardly act. On getting to the said party, the victim was said to have become apprehensive when there were no signs that a party was in the offing.
She reportedly raised eyebrows over the mode of dressing of her boyfriend and his friends who allegedly put on black shirts and trousers with red scarfs on their heads.She, however, played along when she discovered that another lady was with the boys.But suddenly the boys reportedly pounced on her and the other girl and the four of them had carnal knowledge of them.
The boyfriend, the police, quoting the victims, said, took the first shot before the others took their turns.The suspects, it was alleged, ignored the girls’ cries for mercy. The victims reportedly bled profusely after the sexual assault.
Speaking with Sunday Vanguard on the arrest of the four suspected cultists who allegedly raped the girls, the Ondo State Police Command image maker, Wole Ogodo, said the suspects were arrested in Ondo town.
Ogodo said they were amongst the 14 suspected cultists arrested across the state.

Popular Kannywood actor and comedian, Rabilu Musa aka Dan Ibro has died. He died yesterday Dec. 9th but the cause of death has not yet been revealed. Rabilu was jailed several times by the Kano State Government under the ex-Governor, Ibrahim Shekarau, for acting in movies believed to be violating the censorship rules in Kano. Dan Ibro subsequently laid low until recently when he started featuring in movies again. May his soul rest in peace...amen.

A 65yr old French inventor Christian Poincheval (pictured above) has created a sweet smelling pill that makes farts smell like chocolate.

The chocolate pill is a new addition to his other products which include pills that make farts smell like roses or violets and fart-reducing powder for pets.

According to him, necessity was the mother of this invention. He said he was was eating dinner with friends in 2006 when he realised the group had caused a gas attack at the restaurant.

"Our farts were so smelly after the copious meal, we nearly suffocated. The people at the table next to us were not happy. Something had to be done. When we were vegetarian we noticed that our gas smelt like vegetables, like the odour from a cow pat, but when we started eating meat, the smell of the flatulence became much disagreeable. We needed to invent something that made them smell nicer"

Poincheval claims his pills not only create chocolate-scented farts, they reduce intestinal gas and bloating because of ingredients like vegetable coal, fennel, seaweed, plant resin, bilberry and cacao zest. Lol.

Charity Odoemelam, the wife of comedian, Elder Odoemelam popularly known as Elder O has passed away. She died on Saturday Dec. 6th just a day after she gave birth to a son on Friday Dec. 5th. Charity had a very difficult labor and complications following the birth...and died the next day.

A bereaved Elder O announced her passing on his Facebook wall. See what he wrote when she gave birth on Friday and his sad goodbye after she died the following day....
