Villagers Kill 8 Ebola Awareness Health Workers in Guinea
Eight members of a team who were trying to spread awareness about Ebola in the village of Wome – in southern Guinea have been killed by the villagers.
Some local officials and journalists were also killed, BBC reports.
Sources say the victims may have been killed because the villagers are suspicious that the health workers are spreading the disease. Also, some of the residents are still in denial about the existence of Ebola.
According to reports, the bodies appear to have machete cuts and dents apparently from being hacked and clubbed to death.
So far, six people have been arrested in connection with the crime.

4 Friends Every Man Must Have
Life as a Nigerian, you will agree with me is a ‘challenging’ one as a man.
From having to go through school with the heartaches of strike actions (if it is a public university), to exuberant school fees whether it is private or public, to getting all your results ready for service year, plus the rigors of the compulsory National Youth Service Corps and the grand father of them all, getting a good job or starting a private business on your own.
The list is endless…worries about Boko haram, ebola, getting promoted at work, or managing a great relationship that you will lead to marriage. You will agree with me that without great friends, navigating beautifully well without great friends can make a life miserable.
Everyone needs friends to walk the journey of life with. Some are actually just friends for specific occasions (office buddy, lesson buddy, lunch buddy or giving a ride to work buddies), while others may blossom into family. Unfortunately it’s almost impossible to find one friend that meets all your friendship needs.
Even the creator knew one man cannot be good all alone by himself, hence the creation of the second ‘man’, Eve. Howerver, here are four kinds of friends you need to have as a man so as to make life in Nigeria worth living.
The Social Buddy
You necessarily do not have to be a party crawler with this person. But you will agree with me that a little of this here and there will be a great idea. After working your ass all day/week long, having a great time with friends over a bottle of cold drinks would really not be a bad idea, or will it? This person also make you stay in trend with some important trends in the social terrains, except if you’re some ‘anti-social’ person, that is when this person will not work for you in Nigeria as a friend, but believe me, you need to stop your office-home-church routines! Add some colors to your life.
The Confidante
He is someone you can talk to and you will not be ashamed to do so. This person is someone you feel secured telling anything…without the fear of you being stabbed at the back. However, these kinds of people are rare but trust me, when you have one, some of your life issues will be eased. Like the saying goes: A problem shared with the right person is a problem half solved, having someone to talk to about everything makes you feel better.
The Big Brother
He is necessarily not older than you but in experience, he is. He is always has an example to relate every situation with, hence his prompt and profession help.
The Critic
You will agree with me that before a gold is called a gold, it would have passed through fire so many times before it comes out as nice as we get the finished product. Many a times, we do things that we might not know needs adjustments or needs to be done in a better one. That is why you need a critic. You need someone that will tell you plain blank, things you do not want to hear. And believe me, you are on your way to getting better when you take out time to have this people around you.
However, do a check on yourself, do you think you have these four types of friends?

SCOAN Collapse Is Just Human Sacrifice - Ghanaian Pastor
A Ghana-based pastor has claimed that the recent loss of lives in a guest house of the Synagogue Church that collapsed one week ago could be due to the TB Joshua’s quest for promotion in the spiritual realm.
The pastor, Isaac Owusu Bempah of Glorious Word Ministry International (GWMI) in Accra, Ghana, was talking during a recent interview with Ghanaian morning show, Okay Fm.

Owusu said: “This is evil hands at work because I know people who have to make human sacrifices in order to be promoted in the spiritual realm… I know some people will vilify me for making this known.”

He said this wasn’t the first time and recalled the killing of 4 persons who died when TB Johsua came to Ghana for a program.

He continued: “Look at what is happening to him. You came for a programme in Ghana and that led to the death of four people. You also woke up one day and a whole building collapsed, killing over forty people.”

TB Joshua and the church had claimed that it was a terror attack, revealing the video of an airplane flying over the building four times in within one hour before the building collapsed.

26-Year-Old Kills Self On Skype
A 26-year-old Russian man, Sergey Kirilov, has reportedly hanged himself live on Skype, while spectators cheered him on.
According to Dailymail report, Kirilov had announced his intentions to kill himself on social media, and invited people to watch him while he carried out the act live on Skype.
It was gathered that instead of attempting to stop Kirilov from taking his own life, many people watching Kirilov online encouraged him to kill himself.

Police authorities investigating the case stated that only one person tried to stop the deseased.
“If a man says he’s going to do something, he needs to do it,” one of the spectators allegedly said, while another said: “Come on, are you ready yet? Go on – do it.”
Speaking on the incident, a police spokesperson said: “It is beyond belief that people could watch this as a form of entertainment. We will be investigating everyone who watched this incident, especially those who urged him to carry it out who may be guilty of negligent homicide.”
Meanwhile, Moscow police say they are now trying to trace all the people who watched Kirilov’s suicide through their internet service providers.
